The V2 is a performance upgrade on the Grouptest winning PRO insert and fan favourite Original Insert.
This product is a mixture of a lighter Original V2 Insert designed to be run up front and a more protective PRO V2 insert to run in the rear where most harder impacts occur. This way your front tyre can be run at lower pressure for grip without sacrificing support, but the overall set up is ~50g lighter than a full fat PRO set up front and rear. If you select 29"/27.5" Mullet, the 29" will be the Original insert.
Rimpact PRO utilises an Energy Sensitive layer in conjunction with Rimpact ORIGINAL Foam to harden on impact and dissipate extreme forces across itself and the foam below rather than into the rim. The material remains supple and malleable meaning its easy to install yet when it counts, Rimpact steps it up to maximum protection mode and allows you to ride it out when there's no easy line choice! Please Note: There is a 'No Valves' product option available in the drop down menu that ships without valves for those who are replacing a set of inserts and already own a pair of Rimpact Unblockable Valves. Rimpact must be used in conjunction to our valve design or with an insert compatible valve such as Peaty's MK2 Valves.
Suitable for rims with an inner width of 25mm - 35mm and tyre widths 2.4" - 2.6". It is possible to use the insert with narrower or wider tyre but it will increase the difficulty of fitting. Do not purchase if your rims are out side of this spec, Plus inserts are available for wider rims.
Use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle to ensure the extra surface area of the insert is coated with plenty of fluid to spare. Our inserts are closed cell and cannot absorb liquid however some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tyre.
Weight: approx for PRO - 160g per insert for 29", 150g approx for 27.5" | for ORIGINAL approx 90g for 27.5 and 95g for 29".

Returns and Warranty Policy
Returns Policy if Purchased Direct from RimpactMTB.com:
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back until you have contacted our customer service team for a reference number. Our email is customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds When Purchased Via RimpactMTB.com (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 working days.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Shipping:
To return your product, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com for a returns reference and postage address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Warranty:
If you believe the item has failed prematurely or is defective upon receipt and would like to peruse a warranty claim, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com and let us know. For instances where the product was purchased through an approved retailer – please contact the retailer as a first port of call. The retailer will then contact Rimpact directly on admin@rimpactmtb.com and await instructions.
Rimpact PRO and Original carry a 30 day warranty from the date of purchase which covers manufacturer defects or premature failure. It does not cover misuse or damage as a result of incorrect installation. More information is available on our website, www.rimpactmtb.com.
Refunds When Purchased from an Approved Rimpact Stockist:
When purchased from an approved Rimpact stockist, please refer to the terms and conditions displayed by the retailer. All refunds will be processed at the discretion of the retailer, Rimpact Components LTD takes no responsibility for the acceptance or denial of refund by the retailer.
Customs and Import Duties
If you are purchasing products from Rimpact to be delivered into the European Union (including Northern Ireland), please be aware you will be charged a fee in the from of VAT, Import Tax and/or Courier Fees. These fees are not levied by Rimpact Components LTD and we are not charging these fees at the point of sale meaning you are not being asked to pay twice. The fee will be paid to the courier who will pass the tax on to your Government. If the total value of the basket is under 150 Euros it will be approximately 20% or your countries VAT rate and a small courier charge - essentially the same as you'd pay on goods bought from within your country, minus the courier charge. Orders over 150 Euros may incur an Import charge.
All fees are to be paid by the customer and Rimpact Components LTD will not cover any import, VAT or Courier fees related to the importation of the goods. It is the customers responsibility to know their country's rules and fees prior to purchasing goods from Rimpact Components LTD and doing so acknowledges that the customer will be liable to pay all fees. You can check your country's import fees on your Government's website.
Rimpact will not refund any import Tax, VAT, courier fees or related fees that the customer chooses to pay. This does not affect your refund policy or statutory rights.
